This is a calendar of the Lansing Baptist School year 2008-2009. Home school families should send their quarterly report into the school the week following the quarter ending dates.
The calendar listed can be used as a guidline for your family to follow what we are doing at LBS. The quarter ending dates must be followed, but all other dates are only a suggested schedule.
Please contact the school if you will need more time to send in your report. Thank you.
- August 25 First day of school
- September 1 No School - Labor Day
- October 31 Last day of 1st quarter
- November 27-28 No School -Thanksgiving holiday
- December 20-January 4 Christmas Break
- January 16 Last Day of 2nd quarter
- February 16 No School - Presidents' Day
- March 20 Last Day of 3rd quarter
- April 13-17 Spring Break
- May 25 No School - Memorial Day
- June 5 Last Day of School
Attention graduates: Lansing Baptist School does not have a commencement for home school students, but you can order a Cap and Gown at a cost of $40.00. Cap and Gown orders must be placed with the school office before April 1. We will not be able to order one for you after the LBS order is sent in.
